Company Profile

Bytronics Computers Ltd trading as Bytronics Weigh Scales is a leading systems integrator specialising in mobile and weighing systems in East and Central Africa.

Bytronics Weigh Scales is a division of Bytronics Computers Limited. The later was incorporated in May 1991, but became operational in January 1992. The objectives among others being to provide computer consultancy and training. In January 1994, Bytronics Computers Limited obtained the agency for the marketing, sale and service of weighing scales manufactured by SALTER Weigh-Tronix of United Kingdom and Scaletronic of Denmark. In order to effect the agency a trading name, Bytronics Weigh Scales was registered.

Bytronics Weigh Scales integrate weighing systems from high quality components imported from leading manufacturers all over the world. Such systems include and not limited to weighbridges, axle weighers, industrial platform scales,milk reception scales, electronic digital suspended scales for milk,tea and tobacco leaf collection in the farms.

For complete solution the design ad development of PC and Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) software has become an integral part of our weighing systems. Each software is designed on the basis of the customer's requirements while some are basic for general use.

Today Bytronics integrate Mobile and Weighing Systems in wide areas of application.Bytronics puts great emphasis is on the after sales service which is a prerequisite for proper operation of the systems culminating in customer satisfaction.

Our market is currently within the East and Central African region and our products are in use in Kenya, Uganda,Tanzania and Sudan. Plans are underway to extend our markets further within the region and beyond.
